This is just plain beautiful. And the message is one that needs to be heard more than ever too. Man this song is one that im glad i came across because i go thru stuff at times where if i have nobody to turn to or help me, this just might get me thru whatever it is. Rare when a song can make you feel so blessed to be alive and this one reminds me of that. Its uplifting even though its a song saying that you need God more than ever. Tupac will admire you..
Beautiful song, congratulations, played well, nice bass, classic hip hop, it is inevitable to remind of of the great Tupac Shakur(R.i.p.). If I was the arranger for this song, although the market in hip-hop requires a certain type of overloaded decibels and a certain aggressiveness, I would have let this track breathe more, precisely because it has nice chords and a nice harmonic ride, perhaps introducing strings (as Toni, Toni, Tonè used to do in their beautiful song 'Anniversary') and why not, maybe lengthening the track with an extended remix, and also giving space (and that's my best inspiration in music) to the solos, maybe with a nice 80 years'-style moog . Anyway, congratulations.

The picture had me thinking a lady was going to sing. To my surprise it was an artist named Mr. Pickney with LaKeith on the hook. I don't know when he made this smooth jam, but it is something that is needed right now. Nothing to say but the adlibs jumped out kind of strong, but it did not hurt the song at all. I like the way he intertwined the spiritual word in the rhythm of his lyrics. I think this is a keeper in your add and share list. Good work your style is cool as well. ~Fel D.

I like the content of the song. The composition is pretty good. I think this is a very good song. I think the mix needs to improve. The main vocals ( the rap and the scratch vocals ) are the dominant track. However, the remainder of the tracks including the hook are too low. It would be to this song's benefit if you return to post-production and create a recipe where you balance out the ingredients a little bit more. It'll tell the story a lot more effectively. This is a very good song. Keep up the good work.

The chorus is amazing. But the verses need some work. Flow wise and lyrically. The verses also lack a bit of presence. Turn down the volume on the fillers and add some dubz instead. The mixing also need some attention. However, the content of the song is good and I like the message. Practice on the delivery of each sentence. The song definitely caught my attention due to the beat and the chorus. I see much potential. Keep it up.
