A pair of consummate musicians inspired by a spectrum of styles from around the world, Dinkum Bohos’ music reflects the NSW north coast lifestyle of mystic green hills, shimmering blue oceans and vast ever-changing skies. Together they transport audiences to a parisian café, a smoky jazz club, a flamenco fiesta, a poet’s wine bar, an urban dance floor, a sacred sound temple, a tango milonga, a greek taverna, a swampy blues shack, a freestyle hip hop meet, an acoustic folk club.
Each show features different combinations of instruments: vocals, piano, piano accordion, spanish guitar, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, slide guitar, ukulele bass, drums, percussion, vibraphone, melodica, tamboori, harmonic chimes, singing bowls & bells and harp.
Dinkum Bohos’ extensive and diverse repertoire embraces gentle meditative ambient trancey upbeat jazzy jaunty modern folklorica flamenco tango frenchy chic gypsy mojo.
