John writes all the songs, both the music and the lyrics. He also plays rhythm guitar and is the lead vocalist. The songs are arranged primarily by John although sometimes Reggie helps with this as well.

Lliam Hanrahan makes a living as a studio musician playing the bass. When he is not busy with that he is kind enough to share his incredible bass playing skills with Departures Only. Listen to his bass lines in these songs..... he is truly remarkable!

Lliam Hart

Drummer
Lliam's home base is Oakland, CA. Since he is the kind of drummer that can do ANYTHING he is constantly being asked to travel and tour with other musical acts. His first choice though are the songs written by John Kirby.

Reggie Freeman

Reggie plays lead guitar for Departures Only and is also responsible for engineering, sound design and production.
