DA is a pop/rock band hailing from Wichita, KS. We put out our self-released EP entitled "Are You Now, or Have You Ever Been?" in late July of 2005 as well as completed our first short tou In the early winter of 2004 Dear Augustine was pieced together from the ashes of earlier Wichita, Kansas bands. The band quickly made a name for itself around Kansas, with their energetic live shows and crowd interaction. After numerous shows, the band emerged from the studio in February with a five song demo which sold a much greater amount than originally anticipated. Summer of 2005 saw the band journey on their maiden tour. Making their way across the South and the Midwest with their most recent release in tow, the self-financed five song EP, "Are You Now Or Have You Ever Been?", capturing the sound the band had been desperately working on since its formation.
