The Seer

Love the song. Take off the intro with the talking on it as it doesn't seem to fit with the song. Instrumentation is great.

Suave! and very sweet. No sharp edges. No sharp hook. Beautiful nonetheless. my 2 cents, Eric Blackmer

Your vocals are an A. The harmony is really nice. The words are inspiring. I just thing its a little boring after you play it for awhile. I love the piano in the instrumental. Don't take offense when I say it's a little boring. It just sounds like a song you would perform, like a ballad or something along that line. It wouldn't be a hit that would be requested over and over for airplay. Am not quite sure what kind of artist you are so am not sure what your aim with this song was. I do like it overall. Positive stuff that could be worked on if you wanna get some more life into it to keep your listeners awake. P.S for me it was a 7/10 and that's my highest rated review thus far and I've done many :)

Love song

This is a classic love song for 14 years old school girls. Chorus is pretty good, but still needs some work. Verses are whispered, and man starts to be bored after few of them.

Review of "Nothing Like Love" by Magdalene's Revival

This is a good song, but it could be a great song. It started with a nice piano intro that continued through the track, and a chorus line which was powerful, but the verses tended to be almost talked. You have a well capable voice David, so throw a little caution to the wind! This song is crying out for a fretless bass and some light brush work on the drums, a guitar lick added, would be the cherry on the cake.

Review of "Nothing Like Love"

I think its a good love song but it needs more work to get to a great love song! I think the chorus needs a bit something else maybe change it a little bit and add some more lyrcs to it so it can really hit people when the hear it, i think its to simple! But either way good work , you have it there just need to work a little bit more on it!

Wonderful. The piano is soft and have a great harmonic building. The vocal's work in the chorus is amazing. Vocal is very into the song. I felt this song so close to me. I think that it'll be with everyone who listen to this song. Great tune man. If you allow me say something i miss of some solo...maybe piano itself or another instrument like violin. Congratulations. I think it's great! Just a few things to patch up. The piano is great, but it would give it more flair and more richness to it if you had strings and perhaps an acoustic guitar. I love the vocals great overall job! Just keep redoing it to perfection and You got yourself a winner n_n! Keep up the great work, never give up!

Pretty piano. Great harmonies. Nice melody. Emotional performance. Song could benefit from some harmonic and dynamic variety. 2 chords back and forth, even with the wonderful variations, can be a tad repetitious. I like the stark boldness of the piano only accompaniment, but additional instruments would add to the emotion - guitar, drums, especially strings. Overall great job.

There's a few things like love

The first thing to praise about this song is the great sound quality. The piano sounds beautiful and once the Mumford and Son-ish harmonies come in, it just makes it all the more strong. Very nice attempt.

Keep Writing!

Nice harmonies to start...there's a little background noise in the vocal track that distracts the piano part intro...probably a mouth noise you made before you sang... no big deal, but if you have that track recorded separate, you may want to remove it. Decent lyrics, they fit the softer piano vibe. The voice is close and intimate, but it feels a little too safe. There's not enough emotion for me here. I think a little Bono would go a long way. The first verse "to the..." parts seem to go on a bit long without building to the chorus quick enough. I would cut that in half. Overall this is a good start, but I feel the arrangement is a little too safe as well as the singing. I think a bridge, solo, or change up of some kind could help nail the point home....take us somewhere new and show us that there's nothing like THIS love song! Make us want to listen to this song again! Keep writing...you will get there!
