Hello and Greetings, Thanks so much for the emails!!! I hope you have been enjoying the summer even though it’s been a bit hot here. I’d still rather have the hot than the extreme cold.The gigs have been kind of slow these past few weeks but I have some private parties coming up that I am looking forward to. One public event will be Christian Family Day on July 27 and I will be performing at 4:00pm on the Coffee House Stage. Christian Family Day will be held in Smithville, MO. Here’s the link https://www.christianfamilyday.org/ ------------------------------------------------------------------ New Music in the works ------------------------------------------------------------------ I’ve been talking with a producer for the past several weeks about doing some new music. This producer has many contacts in the music business so he created a track for me in which I am very excited about working on. So stay tuned as this progresses. I am really excited about this. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Never too late to have fun with your kids. ------------------------------------------------------------------ I recently took my two youngest kids to the ball game. My daughter is in college and my youngest son is in high school. We had a great time at the ball park. We saw the KC Royals beat the Detroit Tigers. (Go Royals). Afterwards there was a very cool fireworks display. Being at the ballpark and seeing the fireworks was a great time but driving home was a joy as well. My car is set up for blue tooth so my son wanted to connect his phone so he could hear some of his tunes. I said ok. I was expecting the pop songs that the teens listen to but to my surprise, he was playing classic rock songs that I listened to when I was in middle school/high school. I couldn’t believe they liked this stuff. I was digging it as well. So the whole evening was a very cool and fun evening to connect and have fun with my kids. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Key to Prosperity ------------------------------------------------------------------ Would you like to prosper in what you do whether it be vocational or career? Do you find yourself stuck and wondering what to do next? I know I do. In Psalm 1 of the bible one of the keys to prosperity is given: 1 Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, 2 but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. 3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers. Sounds simple but very difficult. Delight yourself in God’s ways and not yours or laws made by men. Meditate on God’s laws and don’t waste time doing wicked things with those who go against God’s ways. God’s laws and his wisdom are for your benefit and mine. It’s there to protect us and to make us prosper. This is a great thing about God, he doesn’t hide it from us. He tells us to meditate on his word and delight yourself with it and you will prosper.
