I'm a native Oregonian, born in Portland two days after the infamous Columbus Day Storm of 1962.
In 1997 I was in a car accident in Colorado and sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury. That resulted in my inability to work competitively, so I moved to the Oregon Coast and set up a recording studio in my 2-bedroom apartment. One thing I've learned is that true happiness is not the result of circumstances; it's a state of life.
