CYON’S BIO…

“Cyon”, legally named Cyon Bercan and affectionately called Norris, was born June 5, in the small community of Lime Tree, Trelawny, Jamaica.
At age 17 Cyon moved from his small community to Ocho Rios to pursue music professionally. There he would later discover some life changing experiences that would set him on the path to becoming a more grounded spiritual man, a teacher, motivator, and an inspiration to acquaintances and friends.
Cyon later moved on to create his own band “TRN” (talent replacing negativity).
As an artist he toured all over the Caribbean and Africa, and developed a grand fan base from his heart touching compositions.
Growing in the music business, he spent some years showing others the way and right now, he still works in the field keeping vibes and flow, creating clean music after the vibes of his cousins Gregory Isaacs, Sugar Minot, Lymie Murray and his father who was a singer/guitarist in the ‘Black Survivors Band in the later 70s.
Cyon’s first major production was “The the reconstruction of Bob Marley’s “Soul Rebel Riddim” on which he ( in collaboration with Triple Platinum Records) released a crew of Jamaica’s top Artists (expired link). Sanchez, Richie Stephens, Anthony Cruise, Freddie McGregor, Jimmy Riley, Kapachi and more… He also released (in collaboration with Kairi Records from Trinidad) 2 compilations that went viral, The “Wattage Riddim” and the “ Riddim” releasing Fine Trinidadians (expired link). Prophet Benjamin, Queen Omega, Khari Kill, Ras Lett, Orlando Octave and more...
Cyon is behind a lot of music you hear coming out of Jamaica and Trinidad & Tobago right now. His latest Compilation, "Anonymous Riddim" once again impacted and his new singles 'Good Man' and 'Be Yourself' is up like 7!
