John Nyerges is a jazz pianist and composer based in Rochester, NY. He performs with his own Jazz Quartet/Quintet, is the jazz pianist for the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, and freelances with the region’s top jazz groups, and artists that come to town. His 2008 CD, Jazz, Pictures and Poems, features his own compositions, with his brother’s photography and his daughter’s poetry.
Steve Curry - Rochester Drum Teacher. Steve Curry first became fascinated with drums when a brother-in-law introduced him to the snare drum when he was just five years old. He started private lessons in the fourth grade and by age eleven, he was studying with legendary jazz drummer Vinnie Ruggiero.
