Durham Gala Theatre
United Kingdom, Durham, Millennium Place, DH1 1WACLASSIC CLAPTON the World's No1 Eric Clapton Tribute Band featuring front-man Mike Hall will be making a welcome return to Durham Gala Theatre in October. This time, they will be celebrating 32 years on the road.
This will be a special “home-coming” for front-man Mike, who was born in Durham and attended Durham Johnston School. Many of Mike’s friends and family still live in and around Durham City.
The band will be performing at Durham Gala Theatre on Friday 27 October at 7.30pm. Tickets priced £15 are available from the box office, Tel: 03000 266600 and on-line at www.galadurham.co.uk The band has a huge following in Durham. Most of their previous appearances at the Gala Theatre have sold out including a charity concert (as After Midnight) in February this year in aid of St Cuthbert’s Hospice. Their last Classic Clapton show at the Gala was in 2014 so demand should be high. Fans are therefore advised to book early for their next appearance!
They will perform all of EC's classic songs including Wonderful Tonight, Tears in Heaven, Crossroads, I Shot The Sheriff, Lay Down Sally, Cocaine and of course Layla! There will even be an “UNPLUGGED” segment.
