Born and raised in brixton south London where he started as a dj then switched to
be a sing jay due to the volume of dj's around.
Picked up the first microphone in
1985 at a house party and then a few local dances, then the big one which was
the gold cup clash at the Acton Town Hall, it was with 4 sounds but only 2 sounds
turned up, so it was king tubby's Hifi vs Java Nuclear power that was 1986.
