Bravo !!!!!!!

Let's go to France

I would highly recommend this classic standard. Your voice swings so well with the rhythm and the muted trumpet compliments the song. If you close your eyes it places you right there in that French cafe' with your favorite glass of wine. Love it! Michael Ross

C'est Si Bon... Well done...

Great Control on the Piano introduction. The muted trumpeter plays true to the era re look representing the era with a respectable truthfulness. The chord changes are sensible and anticipated for the progression. The vocalist is sincere and honest in her interpretation. It is good to see that time hasn't robbed Musicians of the ability to correctly portray music from that style of jazz.

Belle Chanson

Una buenísima canción, con muchísimo sentimiento. Ideal para tardes de relax. Parece grabada en un concierto en vivo, conservando todo su encanto. para quienes aman el romanticismo que agrega el idioma francés a las canciones

Maurice Would Approve

This is a classic French song done with a nice light touch. The piano introduction with muted trumpet leads into a female vocalist singing this lyric that has been popular since the 1940's in France.

Christophe HEYRAUD in C'est Si Bon

I think that Christophe, in the case of this performance - there is no much I can say, as it is a very usual and known piece, old timer one. However, the musical approach, mainly of the instrumentalists is promising and a way that moves away from the "style" and fashion of nowadays music that attracts listeners with no ears for musical components, such as melody, harmony, progression, rhythm, and good lyrics - zero in sophistication. In my opinion, the performers who already took the step away from "nowadays-music" is promising. This is the number one step for originality, yet maintain high skills in performance, as I can hear in this piece. Try composing original songs, yet stick to your musical taste. It is promising!

Yes Please... :-)

Yes Please... :-) Love this !!! From start to finish- As a Drummer and Producer, I kept waiting for a bit of percussive support to tak it up yet one more glorious level... This was so well constructed and so well done, it's hard to ever be critical of one's true artistic goal with any given piece of music. That said, Bravissimo, Outstanding and thanks for sharing your beautiful work. Best regards, Tony :-)

C'est Si Bon Review

Excellent Jazz playing , The vocals are nice and pretty. Smooth and classy, reminiscent of the good ole' jazz cafe days. Nice rhythmic vibes and setting for a romantic interlude type of sensation is given when listening. Makes you want to pop a cork and pour the cabernet. Great Job, I Look Forward to hearing more from your group. Much Success.

DÉFINITIVEMENT CE TRÈS BON !!

Hello to all of you! Your song is truly lovely. You can listen to it again and again and in each of them you can notice more beautiful details. The female voice is great, with a very sensual feeling. The accompaniment of all the instruments is very good, the solos are very well executed. The mastering is a detail that could be improved, because in some parts the trumpet dulls the voice. I congratulate you for your great work!

Could be better

Good interpretation. Good voice, good sordino-trumpet. Too bad the mastering ... the instruments play "in front" without space and depth. The bass is sometimes inaccurate. The imprecision becomes very evident from 2:06, 2: 08-2: 09, when he his alone with the piano an the drum is soft ... he loses the rhythm. But these things happen. Too bad the end of the recording: it's a clean cut :( It is a pity...good potential

IT IS GOOD :D

Wow I haven't heard this track for a while. It's always nice to be reminded of a classic.I wouldn't preach to know a great deal about the hystory of this track but I do know when a piece of music is timeless and this falls into this category. There is almost a resposibility when you recite a classic to do the original version justice and Christophe HEYRAUD have certainly done so with this cover.Instantly as the track starts you get the warm feeling that beautiful jazz music brings. With a mature yet fun approach Christophe have nailed it here in performance and are demonstrating clearly a deep understanding for music which only comes through experience. This is a great cover !! Maybe these guys have tapped into something here? It would be interesting to hear a project that was freshly written today that encapsulates the feel and warmth of this classic.Would Christophe HEYRAUD be the artist to bring this to fruition? I better keep an eye on these guys just incase !!

Very "Bon" to listen

This song takes us to a timeless place, a mix of tranquility and joy lead by a beautiful voice in a very nice chat with piano and the warmness of the bass, commented by the trumpet. It begins somoothly and grows with the pleasure of the music! Congrats! Love to listen to it!
