If ever there was a song I wrote before the "event" that inspired it, Muddy Water is it hands-down. The social waters in this country, and the world for that matter, were crystal clear in 2002 compared to what we seem to be thrashing about in today. Gotta give dues to Pete Verutes on bass, Michael Reale on drums, Rave Tesar on keyboards, and John Cariddi on lead guitar...seems like only yesterday!
"My friends are looking too familiar, suckin' down a Starbucks in their Gap blue jeans..." Come on man! :-)

My heart is breaking watching people I love suffer under the tyrant's thumb. I was struck by the adulation and grief over the death of Michael Jackson in 2009, and thought how much better our world would be if we loved God half as much. Sorry for being out of touch...things have been twilight zone squared here in the US...people tend to resort to unhealthy coping mechanisms when they hit their limits. Almost lost my best friend to alcohol nearly twenty years ago...watching him slowly kill himself inspired my song, "My Hand". I needed a special voice, a voice than my own, a sweet shot of Chesed energy to hit the target...enter Marji Zintz! I like to think it was a direct hit on the spirit that was trying to take him out. He sobered up, saved his marriage, and turned his life around.
NEVER give up! God Bless & Keep You!

Greetings My N1M Brothers & Sisters,
I pray you are all doing ok. Please write me if you know what's going on out there because I'm looking at my fellow Americans and scratching my head. Like how did yesterday's "heroes" become villains overnight for simple refusing an "experimental" injection? I think it all started long ago...
It was probably around 2009 when a friend sent me this poem read on the US Senate floor when Harry Truman was our President, and asked me to put it to music. I embellished slightly by bringing 44 into the mix.

Dear N1M Brothers & Sisters,
God put on my heart to attend a local Board of Education meeting this past Thursday evening here in Orange County, NY. The Holy Spirit gave me the spirit of David before I entered the school. It was not David’s warrior spirit as much as it was his heart of love for God that fueled his warrior spirit. Most all of us would die to protect our mothers, wives, and children. David fathomed God’s love as immeasurably beyond our love for even our own children. He could not allow the Giant to mock the God he loved…while his own people cowered.

When I got inside the school I was told to put a mask on. I said, “No”. They said, “You cannot go in without a mask.” I went in without a mask. When I got inside the auditorium, I was told by the chairman of the BOE I needed a mask. I said, “I will not wear a mask.” He said, “We will call the State Police and have you removed.” I said, “Go for it brother.” And then I asked why they (the BOE) are not fighting for our children. This got the entire room going. It appears the spirit of David is more contagious than the lie of Covid. The young boy sitting to my left looked at me like I was from another planet. Later his mother sent me a note thanking me and telling me how impressed Wyatt (her son) was with what he saw in me. I told her he intuited what God means for him to be, and that they removed Rudyard Kipling from public education for a reason, and gave her the Kipling poem “If”.

The State Police came and stood in the back of the auditorium. The BOE acquiesced and allowed the meeting to proceed with masks optional. They know they have no legal grounds in a public space to mandate masks. As the public was making their comments I went to the back of the room and introduced myself to the three troopers and thanked them for their service. I wrote a song about this entire experience 12-years ago called “Honor”.
I have VERY good news my friends…He’s back!

Dear N1M Brothers & Sisters,
John Hall was a rock star (Orleans) turned thief (Congressman) representing us in the 19th district of New York. I wrote this song after the market crash in 2008. I had a father come up to me with tears in his eyes in 2010 after a live performance. He was the “Shepherds from their house upon the hill” who lost everything. I saw it all…I was a part of the Nan Hayworth campaign that worked to remove John Hall from office. (NOTE: Both parties are complicit!) What I saw in 2008, the entire world is about to see. EVERYTHING is about to explode into the light…as their world just came another step closer to unraveling yesterday in Maricopa County. We are taking our country back from these monsters!

There are over 4 million images of the Viet Nam Memorial Wall on the internet…58,000 names. At the 1:28min mark the name James R. Dean Jr appears at lower left. That is my mother’s sister’s oldest of three…who gave his life for you and me. (expired link) …only God.
