Chick Thomas Marshall AKA The Irish Pirate. Born and raised in Scotland Neck, NC. Now resides in Greenville, NC. Started playing guitar at age 12. Switched to bass guitar for a couple of years, but had to go back to his first love. Has played in many bands professionally over the years. Has jammed with many of the old school rockers in the area in his lifetime including Jerry Thomas, Bill Lyerly etc..Took a break in the 90’s and concentrated on family. Got back into music in the 2000’s. Heavily influenced by Rock and Roll and the Blues. Although Johnny Cash was a staple in the home growing up. Guitar influences are Ritchie Blackmore, Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Winter, Robin Trower and Mick Green.
