We are back playing. It's been a challenging last couple of years to say the least. We have a show in Pomona, Ca tomorrow night and recently played the Doll Hut in Anaheim, Ca and Pier View Pub in Oceanside, Ca. Recording starts back next month. We want to get on it quick before something else happens. Our singer Matt is doing good now and we are happy about it. CPG appreciates your support.

Hello All,

We are finally back at it after basically the summer off. The first rehearsal in a couple of months with the entire band was last night. We are working on getting our set tight and also two new songs so that we can finish recording, editing and mastering. Then we plan to put out a 7" Record with a couple of these new songs. Probably "Logic & Reason" and "Get Some".

We also plan to pllay a few shows by mid November as well since Mike's eyes are still jacked up and he will have surgery again on them in November. We have one booked in riverside, Ca for October 5th and should have another one in October at The Casbah in San Diego. Onwards and upwards.

Hello everyone,

Just wanted to check in and give you the good news. Mike finally got the OK from the Doctor to play drums, surf and what ever else he needs to do. We are rehearsing tomorrow at Wall of Sound Studios for 3 hours! I am dying to play and work on some more new songs. Eventually will have these new songs finished and mastered. There's a really cool song that I wrote and Matt wrote the words to called "When I Break". I can't wait to work on it as a band tomorrow. It's a chango song fosho. Saturday May 4th we are playing a local Oceanside venue, the Pier View Pub with The Pheasants (from San Diego) and Into The Drink. As burnt out as I was getting booking and playing shows for little to nothing, I'm really excited to be doin' this one. Then May 18th we're Playing the Shakedown Bar in San Diego with The FAGZ who are friends of ours. This will be a punk rock event not to be missed. Enjoy the spring and I'll talk to you'all next month.

We areand waiting for Mike's eye to finish healing. He had surgery for a detached retina on his other eye. Same as last year but a different eye. It's been painfull for him and keeping him down. And let me tell you, Mike is always going under normal circumstanses. He works and plays hard, reads a lot and spends time with kids, new Grandson and friends. He's a Lawyer, drummer, surfer, fisher, dad, husband, grandpa and friend.

Back to musak. We recently recorded 5 songs which need to be finished and mastered. One of them is a re-recording of "The Storm". We have two more new ones to work on then record. All of these songs sound different from each other but still sound like Changos... Please be patient. Will have them all done soon enough.

Our next two gigs are here in San Diego County. May 4th at the Pier View Pub with "The Pheasants" and my nephew's band "Into The Drink" here in Oceanside. We love this place because the sound there is awesome even though the venue is very small. Killer mix of bands and I can't wait.

Then on May 18 we play the Shakedown Bar in San Diego with The F@gz. A punk rock show not to miss.

Hello all!

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up. We're dying to record new music more than anything. We have two shows lined up for Feb 17th and March 23rd. Mike our drummer has another problem with his detactched retina in his eye. It happened last year and put him out of playing for months! He is our drummer so we will wait if we need to record. Otherwise we are scheduled to record February 10th. No matter what, count on new music coming for 2013. We played one of our songs live last week "Logic & Reason" and it sounded killer. Wish us luck and feel free to contact us at anytime with questions.
