COLOMBIANOS (The official music video) A Colombian Anthem celebrating #pride #culture #diversity

COLOMBIANOS (The official music video) in YouTube https://youtu.be/MmvgpND7tbs Hello my warriors/ Hola mis guerreros. Greetings to all of you, I hope the light of our Almighty creator continues shining over you to make your dreams come true. I started my greeting today with a link of the recent video of my song 'COLOMBIANOS', which you guys have supported prior. I'm content that this material is finally out to spread the message of the invisible people of my country Colombia, the Afro-Colombians. I did not have so much of a budget to expend in a super production but I have been blessed surrounding myself with people who really believe in my work and art. I take pride in the way we did this video because I wanted to express the feeling and essence of my people through color, sound, art, and lyrics to deliver the message. In Colombia, South America we have different types of people, White, mestizos, mulatos, indigenous and Blacks. However, the predominance to believe that Colombia is only White is wrong. There are around 6 million Blacks born and raised in our country who are subjected to social inequality, racial discrimination, and injustice. Afro-Colombians are denied to the most basic elements of living, such as the dignity to be who they are without being looked at as an isolated and suspicious individual in Colombian society. But, nobody wants to speak about the topic. For the Colombians to speak about racism or social inequality towards the Blacks and indigenous people is a Tabu. Nobody wants to be bothered, in the meantime, our youth are consuming themselves in drugs, prostitution or enlisting themselves in gangs or guerrillas to survive their cruel reality. Their hope to get out of that system is rough or sometimes null. I'm just a messenger in the midst of odds to bring light and awareness of the existence of the Afro-Colombians and their historical contribution to the Colombian society. I express my feelings through music and use this blessed talent as a resource for healing, strength, resiliency and an opportunity to show the other hard and sad face of a suffered and struggled Colombia and that is the Black people. Thanks so much for listening to me. Until next time. Peace to all of you, Chae.
