Awesome Song, Capt'n Neckbeard

This song made me laugh . It's so awesome . Itt's different and it's good to see more people trying new and different things. It is certainly working. Keep up the good work. I think you're gonna make it, Capt'n. Again, great song!

Hard to get through

Very dry mix. It takes away from the ability to enjoy it. The inconsistency of the tempo is also annoying to the senses. Hone your skills in the production and you may have a better song. Remove the "meowing", please! It kills anything momentum that kept the listener listening. I applaud the effort however.

This is different.

Capt'n Neckbeard's tune, Sand In My Boots, was an interesting and different find here on N1M. There is no real genre that the song falls into. That is a good thing. I think the Captain is a young person really just starting to experiment with music. He doesn't sound like he has any formal training but he does sound like he has a natural knack for composing. He's not that good yet but, there is potential. All that being said, he is borrowing from many different styles, symphonic, world, and English Country. This makes his work creative, interesting, and raw. I would love to hear a polished version of this and I would love to hear what this guy could do if he actually knew what he was doing. In the end, I really liked it. Keep progressing Captain! I can't wait to hear what you have to offer!

Innovative And Entertaining!

Ahoy Pirates! This is the song for you! In fact if there's a Grammy category, I'm voting for this anthemic pirate signature piece. The tambourine is exceptional. Whatever you do, don't stop until you've enjoyed every bit of the cat chorus. In one word: meow. Fun and thoroughly entertaining. I would listen to this again if I had to. Wait even I didn't have to. Nice work Captain. I applaud both you and your neck beard.

Funny stuff.

I can picture this video, a bunch of pirates sitting around a table drinking lots of rum with a crazy giant cat hanging around like one of the dogs playing poker. I think the idea is good but I found the vocals (not the cat's vocal) a bit garbled don't know if that was intentional or not. I though the mix could have had a little less on the organ, just a tad to bend with the other stuff a little better. Sound like you had a ball making this, keep them smiling, right? Good job.
