By the Book is a band that does anything but its namesake. It was founded on the idea that a band could make great music that people could sing along to. The idea that a band didn't have to sell its soul to get ahead. Three years later this same idea is still the driving factor behind everything the band does. By the Book has played shows with some of the most promising names in pop-punk, such as The Actual, My Former Self, and 12 Summers Old, all of which have gone on to play at the Warped Tour. They have also played with many other talented bands, such as Jeremy Williams and the Homosapiens, The Ninja Death Accessory, Shelter Belt and Forever Endeavor. Don't be afraid to sing along!
