I've started a new song which is in a more industrial mode, especially the percussion. Got some great lyrics too. But I took a break from it to start a new painting. it's 3 foot by 4 foot oil on canvas. Almost done with the background it has a couple of my pets. A pig named boaris and a Pug called pugins. but while the oil on finished parts dry I'm listening back to the music I have so far, planning, arranging and thinking. expect something new by my birthday in May. It goes without saying but thank you all for your continued support. I'm very blessed.

This month I've resurrected the tune I was working on when the opportunity came up to work with Lucidstatic for the song which would become “Ferryman”. I was so excited by that prospect, I screwed backing up my groovebox files for the song I was working on. Luckily I had several recordings of a couple individual parts, the original samples and beats. I turned to my laptops DAW (digital audio workstation) instead of working with my groovebox, and cut and pasted the parts and pieces into this song I call “the Return”. The original started with an ethereal ambient soundscape for the dialogue from Enki (one of the three main beings the Sumerians worshiped as gods), but I decided to start the final version with the very first crazy melody loop I came up with for the beats I was using instead. The dialogue now comes in over a more industrial ambiance of chugging guitars and synths. I took extra care with the mixing so headphones are recommended. This song will not be released as a single so no distribution on Apple, Amazon or YouTube. It's a N1M exclusive Enjoy!

Hope you all, everyone, had a great holiday. I've had the opportunity to work with fellow Alaskan Lucidstatic. He supplied me a couple loops, one of which is quite elaborate and became the prime loop for my groovebox. I added lyrics melodies and additional beats for a spooky tune "Ferryman". ENJOY

Love to share my latest project. It started with a 174 Hz tone, thought to be a healing sound. Then several royalty free guitar samples, and a drum loop. Then a complex sample of machine sound which wasn't royalty free but I reversed it (played backwards) so it's technically "original". All these samples are different lengths so when played together you have loops which overlap and create a generative pattern. So I've been invited to try out Google's artificial intelligence "Bard". I asked Bard to write a song using the phrase "angel guided journey" in the style of Depeche Mode. So the result is this totally DIY music video.
