About Butch r Baker
Bio
I’ve been around a bit… Started in the music industry in 1978. First thing, CBS hired me and put me on a plane to Los Angeles where I spent seven days and seven nights partying with the big boys listening to almost every A-listed talent Columbia and Epic had on their roster. I’ve been shaped by these experiences and by my love of the Beatles and Todd Rundgren. I think you can hear those influences in my music. I grew up in a musical household where my mother was constantly writing her own music and involving me in the production. I hope to record some of her stuff soon! My music takes some time to pull together. I’m not supporting myself by music yet, I still have a job that takes a weeks worth of time away from the studio. I’ve got about 20 songs to lay down this year and produce an album. Butch R Baker is a performer as name and not to be connected or confused with Butcher Baker! ‘Cause all of the Google searches that bring me up along side a serial killer and I think it’s important to differentiate from that.
