Poem
Geese
Pivoting head to the beating of wings
Compassed collective returning in Spring
Falling to waters that shimmer and sing
To a merging collective, water and wing
Frosted air buffeting streamline formation
But pushing for home makes a feather of task
On to the next body-water station
For home is the merging of water and wing
Knowing the land from a distant perspective
Hues of the earth, for this winged collective
Their passing instills in us deepest of yearnings
For we're jealous of life's merging
Through water and wing

The tension of life and hope
When you've held back for a better deal, only to find you've lost the feeling for life itself, in hanging on too long; worn down the images to a negative of their former selves. As you try to catch old feelings that once lit up your life. Your sense of touch is fading. More pressure needed to feel alive. You hear the world, but don't know what it's link the fog has brought you here to the stone link must lie here in its embrace til it passes. All the whispers in your head from your ancestors, are telling you to wait it out; not climb too far, too fast.
DEATH OF THE TRUE PERSONALITY
How we've allowed ourselves to remain neotonous and undeveloped and use celebrity as a stand in or our lives.

How to be ok with your current circumstance has always been a toughy for me. I'm generally a hyper person, so frustration is always hanging around the borders, i not being felt viscerally. I learned to meditate in my mid twenties and initially stuck to the recommended 2 twenty minute sessions. It was of a great benefit. But unsurprisingly, for me at least, I veered off a bit and had quite a few years of sporadic practice. I've now found myself returning to the practice, as a result of the conditions imposed by Covid. I was, before its arrival, pretty frazzled with effort; trying to succeed at some level with the music. Strange as it may seem (for some at least) I'm thankful that Covid created something of a period of grace. It bought me the psychic space and time that has allowed me to recover some of myself that I'd lost.
So thanks to the circumstances that Covid created and my return to meditation I feel that bit more centred and alive.
I hope, in some way, this proves helpful to others.
Best for now,
b
