Writing and recording music is kind of like fucking. You're there...she's there...just looking at you, like, " hey big boy...why don't you pick me up and finger my strings for a while? You know, maybe...see what...comes? of it? ...hmmm? " ...so, of course, like any good man, you drop what you're doing, and grab her. She's hot, and ready...just waiting for you to strum her to completion, so you can release all her pent up aggression, and make her squirt an ocean of color and sound...soaking you with her abundance, and relieving you with her gratitude... even better...you've recorded it!!! Now you can revisit it, and maybe tweak her here and there, working in unison to be sure she came complete... in your diligence, you wring every last drop from her golden bounty, as you're washed with liquid gold... hmmm...that was kinda hot right there. guess i'll go take my destiny into my own hands for a while, get out all that poison... oh yeah, and i have a new song...called, Coffin Fodder... i don't have a " studio " , i record at home, usually in the livingroom, but the vocals are a problem, because you can't really belt them out where i live, so i have to do the best i can with some of it and just kind of make it work. I did the vocals for this one, while sitting in my friend's car. You can tell...i'm aware. But it is what it is. I'm lo-fi, DIY...some people have complained about my production, or lack thereof...i don't care. I fuck with it til i like it, then release it. Like i said, it's like sex. You think about it, you do it...you go back to what you were doing before. So, thanks for listening. As i always say, drop a line, tell me what you think.
