My older brother showed me 2 songs in the 7th grade and I went off to school with that as a start. Jimmy Reed & Louie Louie. From there the local Dallas Tx music scene took over. I loved the blues & all the new FM crazy Hendrix , Cream , Iron Butterfly etc on the radio. I got to jam locally with Stevie Ray's big brother Jimmy Vaughn , Freddie King Johnny Winters, & Bugs Henderson in high school in Dallas. Bugs was a regular in a club in downtown walking distance from home. He was so good that it was a shame he didn't reach bigger world wide audiences. He did tour some great places & played with or shamed the best of them around. He would blow my mind with his ability to play anything , any key !!!
