Hard Driving

This song definitely starts off rocking and keeps on going. I am not sure what happened in the middle, but It did start to sound like there were two songs were playing over top of each other though...

Two songs?

The song seems like it would ok but you really can't tell. Sounds like a second song is making mud of the first one. Did something bleed from another channel? Good attempt but recording needs work.

Nice!

I like the originality of your work. Strong message and creativity is a big plus. Good production, I can hear some good vocals to this, good job on the final mix-down. I can tell you have your heart and soul into what you do. Keep on pushing and never give up or get distracted in pursuing the dream of making it. I like the instrumental blend of sounds with some vocals and the production on the track is good. Keep up the great work! Peace!!!

GREAT SONG

The primary objective of musical analysis is to understand, as completely as possible, why a work is made "as it is made". That is, what the composer thought to create it, what materials he used, what shape he gave them, or what stylistic and functional characteristics conditioned it. Musical analysis is the way to understand music in all its dimensions, and it is also the gateway to composition, since the only way to really learn to compose is to assimilate the techniques and motivations of those who have preceded us. your song is very good, my congratulations. Keep making good music. Greetings.

I don't think I've ever heard anything like this

On first listening to this piece titled 'Blue Age', I found myself totally stumped. The recording itself is quite distorted so that the lyric is almost lost in the mix. I use the word 'mix' generously - I don't think this collection of audio clips could be called a mix. It does sound like the person who assembled this has really collected a bunch of audio clips and assmbled them in an audio programme like Logic or Cubase in a totally haphazard fashion. I was trying to recall hearing a mid-seventies band named DEVO that, maybe, left a similar feeling to my ears - they, however, used a rhythm to hold the pieces together. This piece does nothing like that and leaves the listener trying to pick out various of the looped pieces. Sorry for not getting the meaning, but I can't understand what the poster is trying to do. My apologies.

Bop review

Here’s an interesting song of California sun, this was an exceptional song back in the fifties this band is doing there own rendition of this classic piece.I like the flow of this song it brings you back to the days of good ole fashion surf music,my favorite of course was the hit single wipe out by the band the surfarys. This song rates up there with cool cover tunes from the past. Nice job with the song good luck.

What is going on ?

Woah ???? too much flange, too much chorus, it's chaotic!!! What is going on and what are you trying to sing or say... even with all that is said I honestly would go back to the starting line and redo the entire the entire recording. It needs some help. 2 stars for trying

Great song

As soon as this song started I was so amazed. I thought this band was extremely talented and had a lot to offer with this style of music. I’ll be sharing this with some friends. Keep making them like this one and thanks so much for uploading it.

Beyond explanation

I am not sure what the message was or if there was any kind of a message with this song but I gave it a full listen with an open mind. The arrangement felt confused and manic as did the vocals, and to me the piece is beyond explanation. With that being said, I have always said that music is like ice cream. There are tons of flavors out there and I may only like a few of them, while somebody else likes the ones I would never dream of trying. This song was like a mix of a bunch of random flavors with random seasonings. Not my flavor, but maybe someone elses.

Review Blue Age version of California Sun

I cant imagine what the artists was trying to do with this song. I did hear some familiar lyrics for what I thought was the song California Sun delivered in some fashion? However, I could not recognize the what I was expecting to be the driving beat of the song and the riff that I was familiar with. I guess I was expecting too much. The seemingly random drumming, guitar solos and noise in the background made it difficult to discern exactly what was going on generally. I gave it a .9/5 for -- well I dont know what for actually.

No bad music

You have proved my theory that there is no such thing as bad music or arrangements. You have the big no. 1 on your sight and you are in fact no. 1 in your city. I would imagine you have gotten some negative reviews from people you have played your songs, arrangements for so I'm not goin' there. You have many listeners so keep up the work.

Blue Age Review

Is this someone's idea of a joke? I'm not saying somewhere in there may be a real musician... I'm simply at a loss to be able to decipher what the instrumentation lineup is for this. It's not only saturated with several different instruments that don't seem to care what is being played, but they are poorly thrown into the mix on one side or another only to add to the distraction for the listener. I get it is suppose to be a cover of California Sun, but what is with all this other clutter going on??? You have asked why it is still pending? Take a listen to your mix and it should all make sense. My suggestion for this piece would be to take it off the site and figure out what is happening with it. Good luck!

This is unique

One of the things I enjoy most about Number One Music artists is the newfound ability to hear music from around the world by singers who I'd never have the chance to listen to otherwise. That, in itself, is a great thing. Here, with this song it sounds like a 100 bands all came together and are playing at the same time. This is confusing and I'm not sure what is happening. I'd be interested to hear another single.

Eh?

Not really sure what I am supposed to be listening to on this track. There is an obvious cover of SOMETHING in there, but without any obvious meter, music, tonality or musicality it is exceedingly difficult to ascertain. We can begin with the glaringly obvious exceeding poor guitar line, in both performance, note choice and tone. While this assault on ones ears could be enough to push away any listener, it is supported by an equally bad bass line, only to be carried forward by a drum line that can only be surmised as to be recorded while in the throws of a mushroom infused Psilocybin experience. And as if thats not enough, there is a Hammondesque key line and harmonies thrown in to be the carrots everyone seems to throw up after a night of heavy drinking, whether you've consumed them previously or not. Blech.
