Merry Bloodline Christmas

Hello to all our friends around the world. We have been away from the studio for too long to remember now, due to other commitments and life events, and felt the need recently to blow the dust from the mixing desk and get back to trying to be creative (if we ever were in the first place). What better way, we thought, as we approach Christmas and the festive celebrations, than to record our own version of a traditional classic carol. It is soon to be Christmas after all, and whether religious or not, we all have a favourite festive tune that we love to hear or sing. Sam had the idea of recreating God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, which in some ways reflects the sentiment of Bloodline's musical themes of the dark being defeated by the light. Looking for something that can give us hope when times seem bleak. This song seemed to fit with our sentiment. Sometimes, we are all at risk of going astray for whatever reason. Life, love, health and our own well-being can sometimes leave us torn and broken, isolated and lost. Yet, if we have something ... just something we can hold on to and believe in ... there is always a chance we can summon enough light to challenge the dark. And that hope may be all we need when we have gone astray. Whatever your belief, light is the essence of all that is good. Light is the hope that we all can ever wish for and truly believe in. As Bloodline, we wish to send you our love and light this Christmas and hope that, wherever you are in this World of ours, that you have peace and love, and that your light will always shine to defeat the dark. We are uploading our version of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen for Christmas, and hope that you enjoy it. We truly love you for giving us your support. Merry Christmas to you all, and please have a happy and peaceful New Year!! Bloodline
