Hailing from Italy, the BLIND TOWN project was started in 1999 in an effort to break the common musical barriers that often smother one’s own creativity. In 2001 they self-produced and released their first full-length album titled “For you…Not for me”, which earned them a “nu-metal” tag, but a simple listen proves them to be much more than this oversimplified genre. In 2003 they released their second disc titled “Flip out”, again self-produced, before taking a short hiatus, and a re-evaluation of their sound. The band went on to play several festivals and tattoo conventions, including MTV Italy’s ‘Around The Rock’, gathering attention from industry and peers, which saw them undertake tours with Born From Pain, Tortured Squad and Oltrezona amongst others. Now in 2009 they are back with nine tracks recorded at “FEAR STUDIO” under the supervision of Gabriele Ravaglia (Electrocution), Simone Mularoni (Empyrios/DGM), and Maxx C. (Idols are Dead) by marked by their unmistakable style with a blend of eclectic metal throes and twists, on “Scary, Suffered and Impure” released through "Casket Music".
