BIOGRAPHY OF BQ PRO (SIMON NDLOVU)
Simon Ndlovu was born in Zimbabwe in May 1994 and raised in North West Province, South Africa. He currently resides in Johannesburg.
Professionally known as BQ PRO (Blaqman Pro) he is a South African Best Producer, Artist, Graphics & Motion Video Editor and Record Label executive (Young Entrepreneur)
BQ PRO developed a love and interest in Hip Hop Music and Dance Hall at the very young age of twelve and was subsequently inspired by the likes of AB Crazy, Soko, Jozi, NE-YO, Akon, Vybz Kartel and Dr. Dre who motivated him to try his hand at producing and beat-making.
Nothing since has stood between him and the love he has for his music.
Starting off as an aspiring producer and dancehall artist BQ PRO started making changes in his private arrangements such as converting his bedroom into a recording studio. As he made these changes his fan-base expanded and the positive responses from his followers to his craft multiplied. It was then that BQ PRO realised it was time for him to step up to professional production. This was when he decided to introduce and found the record label Blaqman Productions.
The record label was founded in 2014.
Through his professional work and craft at Blaqman Productions BQ PRO was able to make his way through the Social Youth Calling and became known in the Sedibeng Region and much of Gauteng Province for his true Hip Hop, Retro Hip Hop, RnB, Kasi Rap (black South African rap), and Dancehall.
BQ PRO is also a talented composer and writer of music.
While growing his fan base BQ PRO built relationships and alliances with young talented artists and helped them on their way to becoming semi-major stars. Among others these included artists such as Mxolisi, Minister(Producer), Treasure Africa, General Breanten, JKgotso, TJ DA Zulu, Kilo, Yvng Steez and Kat Scavanger.

In addition to working with and advancing artists, BQ Pro composed and produced jingles for Sedibeng FM features such as Club 104.8 (Hip Hop Show) hosted by Connie Kgopotso as well as Morning Drive hosted by Patrick Modise while also being featured live on these shows. He has also appeared on the biggest hip hop show called “Street 66 Vaal Hip Hop” on Lekoa Fm, hosted by Teq Problem. Lately his music has been trending on Top 5 Vaal Hip Hop chart list for months.
BQ Pro has also received positive international response to his self-produced single ‘Party All Night’ and ‘Feeling Crazy Remix’ featuring Shantel from all South Africa and Jack Jackson from Malawi.
The single was also play listed on one of the biggest Music Chart sites in New York City, ‘NumberOne Music’ one of the greatest figures in the history of Music Marketing and Promotions.
BQ PRO hosts the one and only Vaal Mix Masala, partnering with DJ Xlence (Thulani Mvulani). Events include the ‘Crazy in Love’ Valentines hosted by him along with his tag Team featuring Dj’s like 016 Banger Boyz.
An important social benefit of hosting these events is to keep teenagers off the streets, help them understand the hip hop culture and help them understand the importance of hosting and socialising at such events.
These events are also hosted so that young, gifted artists and producers are able to showcase their talents as well as share and benefit from their diversity.
BQ PRO is also developing a clothing brand that targets his fans and the youth as a whole.
