Hermon Hitson

A few months ago I got to record with an R&B Legend, Mr. Hermon Hitson. Now I’ve been playing live with Hermon for years. This was the 1st time we were in there studio together. i love hearing about his life on the road with people like Jimi Hendrix, James Brown, Joe Tex, Wilson Pickett and more. The history he shares can’t be found in many of the biographies written about these artist (and Hermon is mentioned in a couple of them.) Hermon is featured in the documentary "Lee Moses: Life and Times" (Bad Girl featured in The High Note). There’s concert footage at the end features Hermon (guitar), John Khaleefa (drums), Leslie Parks (Bass), and yours truly (keys). We recorded one of his compositions, You Can’t Keep A Good Man Down” and a Joe Tex track “Woman Stealers”. Be sure to check them out available now on all digital platforms.
