Keyboard First Movement of Moonlight Sonata - Please leave poor Beethoven alone

Hi, This is just the first movement..as usual people mind only the first movement, without doing any step forward. What can I say...This is a wonderful piece for piano. In order to play this sonata in a good way you need quite a talent, years of exercises, and lessons in order to understand how to interpret, how to dig out the right sound from the piano of every single note. Played like this , with an electronic keyboard, surrounded by fake violins...I think is quite terrible. I listened to other pieces by this band, dance oriented...please continue on that direction and leave Mr Beethoven alone.

Float on Ludwig

suspended in air the melody aimless yet a bit of contrition for lack of rhythm. We yearn for a plateau to rest as lawless triplets dissolve onto a barrage sound. Very un-like Beethoven ending. Ludvig borrowed.

Stunning rendition of a classic

I have to say this is am absolutely stunning rendition of a classical music masterpiece. The synthesized rhythm and modulation has produced a mood and an atmosphere that you would expect with a full orchestral arrangement. The use of the compression from the start of the song has allowed me to feel like the sound emanates effortlessly from different instruments even though I can confirm it has been organised by synthesis. A well rounded use of classical performance to produce a synthetically blended sound and elevate the concept of electronic classical music ECM.

Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 14 in C sharp minor ('Moonlight'), Op. 27-2- Adagio sostenuto

I first confess that my classical collection of music is not as large as it ought to be. I did locate Artur Rubenstein's version on my music hard drive for comparison. Probably not too fair a comparison since Rubenstein is recognized as one of the GOAT's of classical piano. The Beyond Reality Music (BRM's)version is more subdued in performance and taken at a slightly slower pace than Rubenstein's version. Rubenstein is brisk and has more "attitude" in his performance of this Beethoven piece. I listened to the entirety,(all sections of Piano Sonata No. 14), of Rubenstein's performance. What can I say about BRM's version? Well, it was performed by a pro pianist at some point in the production. There are no elements of rock, dance or progressive rock in the performance (as artist listed in genres)-no experimental sounds. So, that's a sense of humour (UK spelling) showing. Humour is a positive for an artist, lest they obsess and take themselves too seriously. It's a straight reading of a classical piece capably played. Rubenstein would get a 5 review. BRM knows classical. Nice work.

Very Nice!!!

I like the production sound and the melody is beautiful. I can feel the heart in this showing you put in some dedicated work. I like the originality and the synths along with strings are in harmony!!! Sounds like the studio vibe was feeling the spirit I could sit back to this one and zone out!!!!! More artist should study the roots of their culture of art more to be better at their own art. Keep up the good work and stay in the lab creating new material to stay fresh and on your toes. Peace!
