I used to be very guarded when it came to talking about sex in my songs. As I get older I realize that sex is one of the things that makes life enjoyable. It also helps us relate to one another since we are all born with sex and sexuality. It's really nothing to be ashamed about!. I wish more artists would talk about sex in a healthy context of course. I wrote this song when I had an itch that needed to be scratched by a special someone. Sometimes we connect with another who may have a strong sexual impact on us. At the time I did and when it came to Friday nights, I only wanted to be with that person. If I didn't hear back I would feel a frustration of some kind.
