Here's the offical word on the song and the band:
“Aliens in my Brain” is a funky epic co-written by Rabble front man Ben Drysdale, and his friend Ralph Nelson. “Aliens in my Brain” takes you on a fun and funky journey of Sci-Fi pop culture references, from Star Wars to Dr Who, to raise awareness about Mental Health. With punchy horn lines and soaring vocals this song always gets the crowd dancing at live shows.

With members from Brass Knuckle Brass Band, Moochers Inc, and After Hollywood, East Row Rabble delivers a slick mix of funk, ska, blues and soul with heavenly horn lines that will get your booty shakin'. And they’re going to be filming and recording this show for some live Youtube clips so bring your dancing shoes!

East Row Rabble’s debut single “Strawberries & Cream” had great success on radio across the country and sat in the Triple J Unearthed Roots chart top 10 for 7 weeks. “Aliens in my Brain” is sure to be a strong follow-up.

Hey All,
We are excited to bring to you our first offering from a CD that will be coming out later in the year in the form of our brand spankin' new single "Strawberries & Cream". I have to be honest and let you know the title and theme of this song came from me half waking up while my beautiful future wife (featured in the single artwork) was getting dressed. She was standing there in this red and white polka dot bra and all I could say was 'mmmm strawberries and cream' before rolling over and going back to sleep. Later that day it turned into a song about choosing what you love, and loving what you choose. Hope you enjoy.

Hey all,
And welcome to all the new subscribers! We've reached 500 now!

So I've been trying to send you this all week but I think N1M has been down or something. Seems to be back up now so here we go. After launching the new band in Nov we've been playing a bunch of gigs around town and got in the studio straight away in Jan to start work on a CD... We're releasing the first offering this Friday with our funky tune "Strawberries & Cream".

We'll upload it to N1M and let you know once its officially released. In the mean time I;ve attached our artwork for the song and a pic of our recent gig at the Multicultural Fringe Festival.

Dear N1M fans,
Thanks so much for joining up to my mailing list. As you may have noticed I started this page for Beth n Ben, which has now split up. But a bunch of members have teamed up and rehearsed our little tushies off to get together the new 6 piece band "East Row Rabble" (like us on Facebook here:(expired link)) NB yes there is a typo in the URL which I'm trying to get Facebook to fix but this miss spelled URL will get you there.

We've done one soft launch with the full band and a few duo and trio gigs and the word is getting around for our Official Launch on Nov 13th and we've just got through to the final of a songwriting comp that might win us a free recording so we can get you some new content ASAP.

In the meantime I'll be adjusting this page a bit to showcase some of the Beth n Ben songs that will still be part of the new project, and share some of our Rabble photo shoot pics.

Hey peeps,
Still figuring out all the bits and pieces of N1M and didn't realise we had all these subscribers until just now.
Thanks so much for signing up and digging the tunes. The band as it was has actually now split however 80% of the members are currently working on new material so we'll be coming back in a big way in the next couple of months. So stay tuned.

Beth n Ben’s fusion of genre, and tongue in cheek lyrical style always turns heads and gets the crowd moving wherever they go. Fresh off the back of the release of their third EP, ‘Scenic Roots’, these Canberra favourites have just recorded a live album showcasing the bands new 9 piece lineup. Since the release of their first EP ‘Boarding Pass’ in 2010, Beth n Ben have developed their songwriting style, experimented with new arrangements and instrumentation exploring new and exciting ways to blend Beth Monzo’s jazz, funk and soul background with Ben Drysdale’s folk, blues, and reggae roots.
