Bastardogs came up from an idea of Andrea (lead guitar), Guido (vocals & rhythm guitar) and Aleks (drums), who have been trying for a long time to create a band who had something real to work on: in summer 2010, trying to find a final line up, the three founders decided for a three-people-line up, thinking: "If Motorhead can do that, why can't we?"; as this decision revealed itself non-working, they found in Jack (bass guitar) the solution to all of their problems. A few rehearsals later, the band goes to the studios and records its first three songs to be included into their demo: "The Pit","Reality" and "Bad Dogs". In September 2011, Nik substitues Jack on bass. In January 2012 Dario teamed up with the band, taking the place of Aleks on drums.
In 2012 Aleks re-joined and Cosme filled the bass slot.
Drawing inspiration from 80's Sleaze style and from historical people of that period like Blackie Lawless and Nikki Sixx, Bastardogs have a winning sound and finally play something new, straying from the ordinary hackneyed tribute bands, giving (and having) a great time in the name of good music, old and new: don't miss them!
