I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and I wish you a prosperous New Year. I just wanted to remind y'all that my EP, "Murderviolence," has been available since last August. You can purchase it on iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, Xbox Music, etc.. It can also be streamed on most services such as Spotify, Apple Music, and iHeart Radio. Please support this effort so I can fund my next full-length album, which I hope to have out this Summer. And if you really want to support us little artists, I would urge you to buy our albums rather than just stream our music. Streaming services are the biggest rip-off ever for us artists and songwriters. I made a whole 17 cents from 200 streams!!! I'm not trying to give you a guilt trip; I'm just trying to spread the word about evil companies like Spotify. And since I'm not exactly Taylor Swift, I can't just pull my music out just to make a point LOL! I'm still just trying to make a name for myself and my little label, Salad Mob Records Inc. This is AwkWord-O saying hello and happy Friday to those who don't have to work the weekend. To those that do, may your days off be enjoyable as well.

I'm writing to let you know that I will probably be leaving Number 1 Music soon. This is the ONLY site I have joined that actually TAKES AWAY member benefits after a short while if you have a free account on this site. Why should I pay these people a ridiculous amount of money to be featured on their lousy website? Instead my record label, Salad Mob Records Inc., will be working on putting up a website, hopefully within the next year.

I am working hard on my upcoming EP, "Murderviolence," which I hope to drop this August. The only thing holding it back currently, is money. I still need to master a few tracks and copyright a few beats. Otherwise, it's pretty much ready to serve. I am also already working on my full-length follow-up album which will be out shortly after the EP.

First of all, you have to check out my husband, singer/songwriter Jonathan Adams Ertel www.numberonemusic.com/jadamsertel. His first official single, "Cosby Love," drops June 2nd on all major digital outlets. Cosby Love is a hilarious song about an overly-obsessed fan. He could've picked any celebrity, but Bill Cosby fit perfectly. We felt bad at first but not only is this not a slam against Mr Cosby, but given all the recent scandals, we don't feel so bad anymore. My husband has quite the vocal range. He can sing Pat Benatar's "We Live for Love" (and other songs of hers) without having to lower the key. Cosby Love shows off more of his comedic side, and not so much his huge range. We have recorded a cover of "We Live for Love," but will have to figure out all the legalities regarding releasing a cover song. Stay tuned...

We will be releasing our music under our newly created imprint, Salad Mob Inc.

Secondly, I just had my first song, "Violence You," mastered for my upcoming EP. It should be out this summer. I will be testing some songs on you, my awesome audience, to decide what songs make the final cut for the EP. What do you think about the song "Gospel's Apostle"? Yes or No? Your feedback is very valuable to me.
