About Atomic Apostle
Atomic Apostle, formed in 1999, has been proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ through music for over 20 years. Through five full-length CDs, their catalog of praise runs the gamut of music from blues/jazz to full-speed rock.
Atomic Apostle is not Praise & Worship nor traditional church music; nor is it aimed specifically at any generation. It is music for real-life with a real message of hope and redemption for those that accept Jesus Christ as their savior.
Meet the band!
Brian Fleming, a classically trained pianist, has been a professional performer since his teenage years. A product of the "Windy City", he grew up with the influences of Stan Kenton and other staples of the Chicago jazz scene. Heavily influenced by bands like Chicago, he brings sophistication and depth to the songs in his style of writing and playing.
Joe Love, the maestro on guitar, cut his teeth in music in the rough-and-tumble bars and clubs of Detroit and the northern US. His mix of rock and blues-influenced playing gives the band a great rock edge to the music that breaks down the boundaries of genre.
Dean "Bul" Bullock, is an all-around musician of incredible talent. Starting as a brass player, he went to guitar, then drums/percussion. He is a former member of the United States Marine Corps Drum & Bugle Corps in Washington, DC, and a retired US Marine Gunnery Sergeant. Being a drummer, his anchor on the Bass Guitar is the foundation upon which amazing grooves are created.
Jim Comfort, the Lead Vocalist/Drummer, has been performing as a professional drummer for nearly 40-years. Jim is also a former member of the United States Marine Corps Drum & Bugle Corps in Washington DC. His passion for music began with drummers Jeff Porcaro (Toto), Buddy Rich, Terry Bozzio, and Phil Collins. He began to sing by accident when he had to fill in for a departed singer and the other band members agreed that he was the singer they needed...that was 15-years ago.

Tragic News
It is with great sadness that Atomic Apostle keyboard player, Brian Fleming, has gone to be with the Lord after a brave battle against cancer. Without Brian, there is no Atomic Apostle. Thank you for the support and love. We will continue to post AA music in his memory.

New Music from Atomic Apostle
Good Day and God Bless to all!
We have posted a new song, Tend My Sheep, from our latest album, The Road.
The song is a timely song about making a stand for what we believe is right. But we do this as God's children united together as one, strong, unbreakable chain that shows the light of Jesus Christ to the world.
Drop us a line and let us know what the Spirit reveals to you about the song.
