It's finally here! As promised, we've finally cut through the tape, arm wrestled some suits, and kissed the ring to get you some new music.....well, maybe not that crazy, but believe me when I say it wasn't easy to get you new music!
But, why waste time complaining about the machine when we could be talking music? Care to Change is the last complete recording from the Osceola Sessions in Raleigh, NC with famed producer, Dick Hodgin. We're really proud of the recording, although it has taken a much different form for live shows nowadays. This song really focuses on being lost, but not having the confidence to break out of the rut. Sometimes we hold on to things that make us unhappy because it's all we know; it's familiar.
Let us know what you think! We still plan to release live acoustic recordings later in the year, but for now, enjoy the new tune and as always, never stop never stopping....um....I'll work on that.
Brofessors and Gentleladies,
Please check out my side project, Upon the Wake. We've got a rough demo available on SoundCloud now:
Fair warning: it's pretty grungy, aka dirty.
We've decided to create a SoundCloud for us too, link. It's brand new, so be the first to Follow!! There may be something special for the first person to Share......
We're still working on releasing acoustic demos, adding songs to Spotify, songs for purchase, and releasing another studio track, Care to Change. As always, Subscribers will get first dibs, so be on the lookout.
Happy New Year to all of you!!!
"the Metal can never be defeated" - Jack Black
As we near the end of another year, the love keeps pouring in!! Thank you to everyone for listening, messaging, and sharing. We couldn't be here without all of you!!
We will have some live, acoustic recordings out soon! And studio songs will be available for purchase next year!!
Thank you for getting us to 6,000+ plays!!
I just finished another new song. Check it out!!!
It's a slightly exaggerated take on abusive relationships. It turned out a lot darker and more vivid than I thought the initial concept could portray, but I'm really proud of it. The composition might change slightly, but I'm confident that the song is as good as it can be structurally.
As always, thank you for listening and for all of the support. For those of you who can, come see us in Seattle in mid-July; we're not announcing the actual venue until the day of.....very sneaky stuff.....very mysterious.
April is over and Spring is finally here! As promised, we've added our demo track, "April's Gone" to the N1M rotation. I wrote this song several years ago....about a girl...and a breakup. But, I always try to leave songs open to interpretation so more people can connect with it, and "April's Gone" stays true to the mold.
Let us know what you think! Maybe we could make our 3rd visit to Number 1 on the Modern Rock charts.......
