The beginning does a good job of introducing mystery. Instrumentation was nice with the drums and acoustic guitars. The story is set with King David and his zeal of expression and devotion before the Lord. The next subplot of the bride rejecting his unsightly devotion is partially prophetic as David's wife ridiculed him for uncovering himself in front of the people. The second verse shows David's incident as a shadow of Jesus devotion. Although David's wife was never restored to intimacy with David while Jesus provided a way through his blood and sacrifice for all who would receive Him. John 1: 12-13. I would have preferred a little more tension in the verse chords as it carries a non- chalont feel but the mystery feel returns at the end. The anger reference is not quite clear. David was angry with his wife's assessment of his devotion to God. I don't see that with Jesus toward His bride. The Jewish leaders rejected Jesus but they weren't His bride. (Jesus said they were sons of satan). Although He cleared the temple in anger of turning His Father's house into a market, His heart was to redeem and be the lamb slain before the foundations of the earth. Rev. 13:8. If I missed some of the typology, it should be made more clear. That's what I got anyway. Great effort.
