Awesome Song!!!

I have always been a fan of Amala and this song is no different. I love everything that you put out and I have to add this song along with your others in my favorites. I have supported your music and I will continue to support your music. This song is a whole vibe and I can't wait to hear more. Keep up the good job and putting out the hit songs, because this song is definitely going to be another hit!!!

What to Avoid in Music Production

Upon listening to "HEARTS GET BROKEN" it becomes evident that this song is a prime example of how not to produce music. The track features amateurish, lackluster sounds that fail to captivate the listener. The vocals, delivered in a monotonous and uninspired manner, fall flat and fail to evoke any emotion. One of the most glaring issues with this song is the excessive use of reverb in an attempt to mask the lackluster vocal performance. Instead of enhancing the vocals, the reverb only serves to further highlight the subpar quality of the singing. The overall production quality of "HEARTS GET BROKEN" is disappointing, with a lack of attention to detail and a failure to create a cohesive sound. The song comes across as messy and unpolished, lacking the professional touch that could have potentially salvaged it.

Strong lyrics - heart felt

Really good song and accompanying music. Got the soul sound. I like the garage echo feel to this genre of music. Great work. Worth documenting the lyrics and keep reperforming the song. I wonder what it'd sound like recorded in a professional studio. NIce ending with the vocals.

Enthousiastic rock music lover does home demo

The song sounds nice in the ears...the mix could use some improvement...to my ears the voice is too loud opposed to the instruments...a little less reverb on the vocal would have my preference...a little variaudio correction on the vocals here and there...it's demo level...you hear where you want to go...For a more polished homerecording by yourself you have to be a little bit of an engineer, mixer and producer nowadays...or get there "with a little help from you friends". Enjoy your music (says this amateur) and Happy Holidays

Poppin' soul!

It's nice to know that people still write music like this. With so much change in the music scene, we need artists like you to keep the real music alive. Here is a fine example of someone doing just that - great job on this tune, bro!

Vibes!!

I like the originality of your work. Strong message and creativity is a big plus. Good production, I can hear some good vocals to this, good job on the final mix-down. I can tell you have your heart and soul into what you do. Keep on pushing and never give up or get distracted in pursuing the dream of making it. I like the instrumental blend of sounds with some vocals and the production on the track is good. Keep up the great work! Peace!!!

Quite flat

Positively one could notice that the song's got a certain flow. there are no unnecessary breaks or stops, it starts and flows and ends. Besides this, I am missing any sort of dynamic. A second voice could very much enrich the chorus, maybe an additional rhythm guitar or organ could lift the chorus to a higher level than the verses and the drums could vary their pattern as well instead of hitting the cymbals in the wrong moments. The voice sounds a bit cloudy, and, with all due respect, the intonation is not always ideal. I would see this more as a sketch than a final version.

Keep on Keepin On

One of the things I enjoy most about Number One Music artists is the newfound ability to hear music from around the world by singers who I'd never have the chance to listen to otherwise. That, in itself, is a great thing. Here, with this song the production sounds like a live performance which is always fun to hear. The vocals ache in aging of a love gone by. Nicely mixed and the instrumentation is on point.

Amala's "Hearts Get Broken"

Upon your very first listen to Amala's "Hearts Get Broken" (an artist who hails from Chicago, Illinois - a great music town if there ever was one!) - you cannot help but to be deeply impressed by the high quality of the musicianship, songwriting and production. I myself am really looking forward to hearing more great new music from Amala very soon - I recommend that you check him out!

Amala "Hearts get broken"

Amala "Hearts get broken" As Amala steps out onto the stage to play his latest pop/blues hit in chicago perhaps somewhere there is a lady reflecting on how things could have been handled a bit more eloquently. Because now it would sound {if you listen to the song} as if she feels like she is suffocating. Things could always be worse, the lady could have been sacrificed to the cat 8 tits.

Anachronistic Fun and enjoyable!

Nice and easy to listen to. A bit pitchy at times but the song comes across as a genuine believable performance! Some back ground vocals and harmonies would be also a great ammendment to an otherwise fun song! Thx for sharing :-)

SOMETIMES

I DONT MIND THIS TRACK AND THE SENTIMENT IT DELIVERS LETS FACE IT ALL HEARTS GET BROKEN MIGHT BE A BETTER TITLE AND ONE THAT RESONATES WITH MORE PEOPLE AND IS PROBABLY MORE IN TUNE WITH REALITY FOR A GREATER NUMBER OF LISTENERS THE VOCALS COULD USE SOME EXTRA PRODUCTION

Review

This song is remarkably unique, and it carries the energy that mdern music inquires for the fans of both old and new era. As a critique I would focus more on the buildup and the chorus aspects of the song or instrumentation. The chorus is essentially the climax of the entire embodiment of a song and it should almost always inspire the energy that a listener is seeking to relate towards. All in all, great work. This song is remarkably unique, and it carries the energy that mdern music inquires for the fans of both old and new era. Voce particolare

Bop review

Here’s a cool song I found, it’s a fun rocking 4/4 song with a touch of Bruce Springsteen and early eighties feel. The arrangement and the tempos and instrumentation is spot on and we’ll arranged. Nice rhythm section keeps you moving your feet kicking to the beat. It’s a fun song to listen to and dance to, perfect for top forty radio airplay. Overall, this was an interesting but nice song to review. Good luck with your recording.

Somtimes Almost

This is almost a wonderful song. I'll start with the main drawback which is that there is an absence of dynamics in the sections of the song. I want to hear the dynamic increase for the choruses and be held back when we return to the verses. Having said that, the instrumentation is quite sparse and I was looking for a guitar solo or some such in the middle somewhere. The guitar is treated with an interesting bunch of effects that could be more prominent - in fact, the guitar is mixed too low imho. The singer has a good voice, but his delivery is a bit on-the-beat without taking too many liberties with the timing. I think he could develop his interpretation of the lyrics a bit more soulfully, much in the way that the Flaming Groovies did on "Shake Some Action".

Unique Popsong

Amala comes up with a song that differs significantly from the mainstream. The lyrics come from the heart with eloquent messages. The vocals are really authentic what´s clear to hear in the chorus line and brings something special into the song. The melancholic passion makes the meaning of the song engaging for me. Computer generated melodies carry this recording influenced from pop and contemporary music. Wonderful song with potencial from very talented musician. Maybe you will likewise add him. Let others know your recommendation.
