Greetings everyone, I am so blessed and humble by everyone who has joined my network. Just the thought of you taking the time out of your busy schedule just to listen to the music projects that I have been inspired to create humbles me yet once again. I've been busy building the record label and also recording new music. I hope that you will enjoy the new musical projects as we embark on performing at festivals this coming summer season. We will also be displaying our new merchandise of T-shirts, hats and also backstage passes. About Al Parker Jr
Al Parker Jr is an American drummer, keyboardist, singer, songwriter, producer best known for his work with ISIM Productions, which includes the bands RunHym, SWD, Just Us, New Blood, Outer Limits and numerous related projects. Parker started performing in the early 1970s with R&B groups in the 7 cities 757 area surrounding his home town of Norfolk, VA. A versatile drummer Parker had no trouble finding places to play even though he was 11yrs old at the time. But it was his songwriting and arrangements to the top 40 hits that caught the eyes of the “Griffin Brothers” Band one of the top funk bands on the scene. After leaving to serve in the US Army after high school in 1979 Parker formed his own band, Just Us, which performed in a style not far removed from the classic Funk*Soul style with a lot of emphasis place on the dual Bass/Moog work similar to other funk & rock bands. Parker gained a strong reputation as one of the top funk/fusion drummers, but he was always versatile enough to play in many settings. Always a writer first, Parker is now set to release a catalog of well-crafted songs from his ISIM Records label. The first entitled “No No No” is a smooth R&B entry that set the stage for joy and pain we all experience in love.
