A Sketchbook Of Songs
Hi and welcome to all visitors to our page. A Lilt Of Songwriters are a small group of people who now love and enjoy writing songs, although before they became members most had never written any lyrics. We are members of the Bournemouth U3A. The University of the 3rd Age is not really a university. I like to think of it as 'using your third age'. To be a member of the U3A you have to be retired or semi-retired, or at least not in full time employment. In Bournemouth there are over 130 interest groups and this group that I run weekly is a songwriting group, which I believe is the only one in the National U3A Organisation in the UK. I am so proud of my group and the way they all work individually and collaboratively. Without exception they all help each other to achieve the best demo of each song. We do hope that you enjoy listening to this wide selection of original songs. One thing you can be sure of we have all had a lot of fun writing them and there are many more to come.
