About Alien Pi

Alien Pi is an American alternative rock band formed in Ohio in 1996. The band was officially named in a bar in Seattle. The band's current line-up is Robert (vocals), Todd (lyrics), and Jeff (bass). Their musical style fuses traditional rock with elements of other genres including pop, R&B, electronic, psychedelic rock, and space rock.

The band released their first album Other in 2001. Robert played all of the guitar and most of the bass on the album. After the first album Robert started using samples for most of the music. Other was followed with Alien Pi (2009), which continued their success. The third album was called Thinking (2012). The most recent album is Alone in the Unknown (2017). New music from the new album "Middle of Nowhere" began its release on Pi Day (2021). The first single "Lost" was followed by "Burning Bridges". "Glow!". The first single called "Quicksand & Honeybees" was released on 03/14/2022 (Pi Day).

The band is currently working on a new Album called "Leave Your Art". The first single, "Ai Shadows", was released on 06/17/2023.
