Love In Exile review

Love the straight ahead, in your face introduction to this song. Really cool vocals that come off very '80's rock in the sound and style you approached. This has a very tight production that gives the listener a clear listen to every one of the instruments along with the vocals. Excellent job! Really strong harmonies in the vocals as well. Enjoyed the breakdown with just the guitar just before the solo. You guys have something going here so keep it up! Good luck.

LOVE IN EXILE

I LIKE THE INTRODUCTION BUT MAYBE CUT IT BACK A COUPLE OF BARS AND GET STRAIGHT INTO IT IS THERE SOME EVANESSENCE HERE REMEMBER THEM FROM A FEW YEARS BACK WITH AN ALMOST GOTHIC ROCK VIBE WASNT EXPECTING THE REFRAIN ABOUT TWO THIRDS INTO THE SONG I THINK THAT IS GOOD WAY TO BUILD THE TRACK BACK UP WITH A FILFTY LEAD GUITAR SOLO LOTS TO LIKE HERE.

Quite a lot of things in here

Nearly symphonic, this melodic metal opus. Nice contrast between the female lead voice and the razor blade guitar riffs. The song's got a real hook line to sing along with, good vocal harmonies, some nice gimmicks in between, and an interesting instrumental part before the final chorus. I also like the piano shining through here and there, and I appreciate that the lead guitar plays a melody in the solo instead of 347 tones per second as some other metal axemen do. Artful and complex and good.

A Day In Pompeii - Love In Exile

Solid piece of metal playing, aspecially I like more the simply strong parts. Sharpened main riff - really appreciate it! A little bit disturb me the piano, it looks like from a side of the song, why? Sorry I don't understand. Okay, maybe I need listen it again. Great moment when the composition slow down with bass and drums - yes. Guitar solo - not so much notes, it's nice. Almost forgot - nice effects of second voc in choruses... Very good composition for metal charts. Check it out folks. Greetings, Maciej ATRAPA

Powerful entry with a frantic riff, precised work, spiced up with harmonic structure later. Groovy riff then, the voice is a bit sweet compared to the entry, but nicely illustrated with keyboards, afterwards a cathy hookline, bombastic with a lot of elements, the lack of power in the voice is repaired by layered voice. This is a good singer, but , to my mind, needs a more agressive element. Dig the drum work, full of nice details. Interlude: athmospherical, catchy, well put together, dynamics rise fluently. Solo: Well performed, solid with much feeling, the end could be more flamboyant. Then again the chorus which doubtlessly stick in the ears. Bottom line: a very solid work, well produced, just lead voice and solo guitar could use a bit more punch. Keep it up, greetings.
