Makes me want to Shout
Breathy vocals and good build up. I like the repetitive guitar lick and break at the 2 and half minute point. Good up-to-date sound - would never guess you were based in Tennessee! Outro too long though, it should be shortened! Original - too often you hear a song and think "Oh this sounds like...".

A little u2-ish
I really liked it. I would turn it up driving down the road. I even listened to it a second time. I really like your voice and I like the echo effect in the begining. I definatly hear distortion muted guitars over that high hat part, you should add that. Over all, good song, keep jamming!!!

Interesting trail off swirly effect on the lead vox. I would try taking this to a pro mix engineer to really boost what the original engineering obviously made as far as good levels and whatnot. Maybe add a ton of overdriven rhythm guitar during the parts where we hear hi-hats opening up a little bit. By the second verse, I didn't much to keep me interested, so I would suggest maybe palm muted guitars on that part, with some form of synth trickery and/or string type melody. Overall, it's on it's way... I am not U2's biggest fan, but you seem to be on the right track to fit into their genre. I guess trying a little flavor with overdubs and fun noises would be my advice. Don't be afraid to embellish!
review of "resisting red"
Very U2 ,bono like delivery.Good delivery, exept for volume drop at 1,34.distracting. A good song.It has been done before, but this well replicated.good production.It would be nice to hear more original sound,but for what it's worth,if you can't make it to see U2, at least Ian is here.
