A very relaxing rhythm with a searing blues guitar lead! I like that combination. The theme of the writing also has depth which is hard to find. My friend always uses "no expectations" as a life motto and I think this is of the same theory. Very good!

“Expectations aren't guaranteed” as you so compellingly point out but appreciation for a nice mix of emotions in your lyrics and hook will certainly be. The captivating guitar work also adds to the import of the concept making this the beginning of a good deep album cut. Some changes to the arrangement and instrumentation might help expand this great concept foundation even further.

Very smooth and low key lain back sound: vocal and music make for a very good combination with good lyric line - a very clever song indeed - I want to sway as the song takes you in - Really good!

First of all very good breath control on the vocals. Lyric hook speaks to me. I find that Expectations are thought of as guarentees by many and they really are not guarentees. Clear delivery of the words. The slide guitar is excellent and really fits into the song. Get rid of the drum click intro and put that slide man out front All in all very good stuff.
